    Cross Timbers Action Shooting Association offers the Greater Fort Worth, Texas area shooters a venue for the shooting sports of IDPA, USPSA, Carbine and PCC. If you are as excited about shooting as we are, then come out and shoot your first match for FREE (range fee not included). Cross Timbers holds 14 regular matches per month at private and public ranges. If the month has a 5th Saturday there is a carbine match. If the month has a 5th Wednesday, there will be an IDPA PCC match at Defender Outdoors.

    IDPA matches are held the 2nd and 4th Mondays at Total Shooting Sports(TSS) in N. Richland Hills, starting at 6:00pm. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Wednesdays are IDPA nights at Defender Outdoors and on 4th Wednesday we hold a defensive carbin / rifle match. At Lone Star Guns Gallery and Gear in Weatherford we shoot IDPA on the 1st Friday of the month from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. (please no lead or steel core ammo at indoor matches)

    We have two outdoor IDPA matches at JCSSA on the 2nd Sun and 4th Sat of every month, starting at 10am. Two matches are also held per month at CCCS range in Cresson, TX. USPSA on the 1st Sunday and IDPA on 3rd Saturday, both start at 10am.

    Welcome to Cross Timberís IDPA! The International Defensive Pistol Association, founded in 1996, is an organization that promotes defensive pistol shooting as a sport, using equipment to solve simulated "real world" self-defense scenarios. All participants will learn and practice responsible gun handling while having a great time.
