Recent PostsWell when you load the first plated bullet at the max FMJ load you will not need a chrony after pulling the trigger.
So loading on the plated bullets should I expect lower or higher fps from them (starting to realize I need a chronograph)?
You probably need to do a little bit of reading about plated bullets. You need to load them on the low side of FMJ loads.

Ok so with that in mind I am looking at either (probably going to use Berrys Plated Bullets)
230 GR. HDY FMJ FP Winchester WSF .451"
There will be about a 25 FPS difference from 5" to 4"

Load plated using lead data.
