Cool IDPA Box - Can someone bring one to TSS Monday Night 5/8?

How is IDPA Box uniformity inforced? Is there an official IDPA Box with all the inserts available from HQ? Are clubs required to use it? If they make their own, depending on materials and measurements how do we know they are correct?

In any case, can someone bring a box to the TSS match Monday night (Or is there one in the "Box" at TSS?)

I will bring the one for TSS to Cowtown this weekend and pass it on to someone that will be going to TSS.

The club has two that were hand made by members and one plexiglass one that was purchased from HQ. The plexi one will be at TSS. The other two will be at D.O. and Cresson. They will all have inserts.

These boxes are 99% correct (my guess). I don't know the rules for certifying a box or questioning a box for accuracy.

The box measurements can be challenged by any competitor

M-7.1 The IDPA firearm test box measurements have dimensional tolerances of -
-0” to +1/16”. Boxes outside this tolerance range may not be used in IDPA matches
for equipment checks or for “firearm in the box” starts.
Example of tolerance: The width of an SSP, ESP, CCP and CDP gun test box is
nominally 8 ĺ” long, but can range from 8 3/4” to 8 13/16” in width.

So your saying I need to carry a set of calipers and a certified weight to major matches now?
